How many gigabytes will your job actually move?
Every proxy price is quoted per gigabyte, so the number of gigabytes is the input that decides what you pay. It is also the number most people guess. Multiply your pages by what a page really weighs, and the answer is often nothing like the estimate.
How you fetch them
You would move about
125 GB a month
At 525 KB a page across 250,000 pages.
Same pages, same job, two ways of fetching them: 2.15 GB reading the document against 125 GB rendering it, a difference of 58.3 times.
If your parser only reads the HTML, blocking images, fonts and scripts is the largest single lever on the bill. Page weights above are our own measurements, one load each, taken 15 August 2026.
